Anyone! Nominations for consideration to the Gravel Cycling Hall of Fame can be submitted by anyone. It is recommended to have a conversation with the person you are considering nominating to make sure that they are on board with the nomination and can provide crucial details to your nomination application. Please formulate well thought out and well written nominations. Our goal for the Gravel Cycling Hall of Fame is to tell the stories of individuals who have contributed to this sport. Who can be nominated for the Gravel Cycling Hall of Fame?

Any individual can be nominated for the Gravel Cycling Hall of Fame. It is up to the nominator to write a submission that tells the story to the electors of why that individual should be included in the Gravel Cycling Hall of Fame.

who votes for the inductees?

There are over 50 Gravel Cycling Hall of Fame Electors. These electors are made up of athletes, promoters, media professionals, gravel enthusiasts, the 7 members of the Gravel Cycling Hall of Fame Board, and the current members/inductees of the Gravel Cycling Hall of Fame. Each elector is given a rank-based voting ballot of nominated individuals and places their votes according to their personal definitions of who should be inducted into the Gravel Cycling Hall of Fame. Based on the ballots of over 50 individuals, the ranked-based voting is added up and the top 4 individuals are selected to that class of the Gravel Cycling Hall of Fame.

If a current elector has been nominated and is on the ballot, that elector has the option to abstain from voting or remove their name from the ballot for all electors.
